Planning a wedding means sharing a lot: your families, your traditions, your guest list, your budget. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Natasha Cougoule Events, doing business as Parker Paloma Events ("Parker Paloma Events," "we," "us," or "our") collects through parkerpaloma.com and through our work with you, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit an inquiry, schedule a call, or message us, you may share:
Your name and your partner’s name, email address, and phone number.
Your wedding date, location, venue, guest count, and budget range.
Details about your celebration, including the events you’re planning and the cultural or religious traditions you want to include.
How you heard about us, and anything else you choose to tell us.
If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to plan and run your celebration. This can include guest lists and contact details, dietary and accessibility needs, vendor contacts, timelines, contracts, and billing details. Payments are processed by our client management platform’s payment processor. We do not store full card or bank account numbers.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the site that referred you.
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from wedding directories such as Zola, from social media platforms when you message or interact with us, and from venues, vendors, or past clients who refer you to us.
2. How we use your information
To respond to your inquiry and decide together whether we’re the right fit.
To prepare proposals, contracts, and invoices, and to deliver our planning, design, and coordination services.
To coordinate with venues and vendors on your behalf.
To send you planning updates, reminders, and other service messages.
To understand how visitors use our site and improve it.
To protect our business, prevent fraud, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as described here:
Service providers that help us run the studio, including HoneyBook (inquiries, proposals, contracts, invoicing, and payments), AislePlanner (client planning portal), Google Workspace (email and documents), Showit (website hosting), and Google Analytics (site analytics). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Venues and vendors on your event, but only the details they need to do their work, such as timelines, guest counts, dietary and accessibility needs, and on-site contacts.
Our day-of team and contractors, under confidentiality obligations, for the events they staff.
Professional advisors, such as our accountant or attorney, as needed.
Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the safety of others.
A successor business, if we are involved in a merger, sale, or transfer of our business.
4. Sensitive details
Couples often share information about cultural or religious traditions, dietary restrictions, and accessibility needs for themselves and their guests. We use this information only to plan your celebration and share it only with the vendors who need it to serve you and your guests well.
5. Your guests’ information
When you share guest information with us, you confirm that you have the right to share it for the purpose of planning your event. We use guest information only to plan and run your celebration.
6. Cookies, analytics, and embedded content
We use cookies to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it. You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Some features may not work as intended if you do.
Our site may show content embedded from Instagram, Pinterest, and other platforms. When you view it, those platforms may collect information about you under their own privacy policies.
Do Not Track: some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for responding to these signals, our site does not currently respond to them.
7. Photographs
With permission from our clients and the credited photographers, we feature images of real celebrations on our site and social media. If you appear in an image and would like it removed, email us and we will review your request promptly.
8. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for up to two years if you don’t book with us. We keep client records for up to five years after your event to meet contract, tax, and accounting requirements. After that, we delete or anonymize them.
9. How we protect information
We use reputable platforms with industry-standard security, limit access to the people who need it, and share only what each vendor or team member needs. No online system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is inaccurate.
Delete your information, unless we need to keep it to meet legal, tax, or contractual obligations.
Stop contacting you.
To make a request, email natasha@parkerpaloma.com. We may need to verify your identity before we respond. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
California residents: under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, you may ask whether we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information for this purpose.
11. Celebrations outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed here. If you are planning a celebration abroad, we share the details needed to plan it with venues and vendors in that country. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
12. Children
Our site and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date above. If we make significant changes, we will let current clients know directly.
